HomeEd London is a directory of home-education activities in London for parents and carers. It has no accounts and collects no personal data.

Who we are

HomeEd London is run by Hamsa Software LTD, which is responsible for this policy. Contact: admin@homeedlondon.co.uk.

What stays on your device

• Listings you save, organisers you follow, the Tube lines you choose, and booking reminders you set. Reminders are scheduled by your device; we send no notifications.
• A copy of the latest listings, so the app works offline.
• If you tap Add to Calendar, the event is saved to your calendar. The app asks only to add events and never reads your calendar.

None of this is sent to us. Deleting the app deletes it.

What the app sends

Downloading listings. The app downloads the public list of activities from our website. Like any website, the host (Cloudflare) briefly processes your device’s IP address to deliver the file. We don’t receive or keep it, and we don’t use Cloudflare’s analytics.

Reports and suggestions. If you choose to send a report, a suggestion or an organiser update, the app sends only what you type, the listing it’s about (if any), any web link you add, and a random code that stops the same message being sent twice. The form doesn’t ask for your name, email or phone number, so please don’t include them. Nothing is sent until you tap Send, and nothing in the message identifies you or your device. To drop duplicates, the form keeps the random code and a fingerprint of the text for an hour, and it counts messages per listing to limit abuse. Messages go to a private review list read only by us, hosted on Google. We delete reviewed messages after 90 days, and sooner if one contains personal details.

What we never do

• No accounts, sign-in, or profiles.
• No location access. The map shows venue positions taken from the venue’s own page.
• Nothing about your children is ever sent to us: no names, ages, photos, addresses or schedules.
• No advertising, analytics, tracking, or third-party SDKs, and no selling or sharing of data.

Organisers

Listings contain information organisers have published on their own pages, such as activity names, venues and contact routes. If you run an activity and want something changed or removed, open your organiser page in the app and tap Do you run this? Send an update, or email us.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask what we hold about you and ask us to delete it. Because we don’t collect personal data, there is normally nothing to return; if you sent personal details in a message, email us and we’ll delete it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.

This website

This site sets no cookies and runs no scripts or analytics. Email sent to admin@homeedlondon.co.uk is forwarded to our inbox by Cloudflare, which hosts the site.
